Our passionate and caring team collaborates to support the aspirations and vision of whānau, creating an atmosphere of aroha, kindness, trust and respect. Here, your tamariki will feel heard, valued and supported.

Our trained kaiako are dedicated to enhancing the learning and development of your tamariki – we’ll make sure they get off to a flying start! We know that every individual is different. At Little Parrots, we embrace and celebrate differences and equip each tamaiti with the skills and tools they need to learn, their way.
We have meticulously crafted our programme, drawing inspiration from Te Whāriki, Aotearoa’s early learning curriculum. We shape learning experiences to suit the individual interests, strengths, and culture of each tamaiti. Through play-based learning, intentional teaching, and meaningful interactions, we aim to build a foundation of confidence and competency, nurturing lifelong learners.

We believe transparency and effective communication are key to building trusted relationships. That’s why we’ve invested in leading technology platform Discover Childcare, which enables you to see when your tamariki sleeps, has a care routine, takes a bottle and more.
Through our platform, you’ll also enjoy stories that give you an insight into how your tamariki are progressing, so you can see what they are learning and experiencing at Little Parrots. You can also send kaiako notes if you want us to keep an eye on anything in particular or just need to get in touch. Basically, this tool is a gamechanger as it gives you access to all the information you need at your fingertips!

We recommend you pop in and visit our childcare centre in Mount Maunganui, have a cuppa, and get a feel for who we are and what we do. You’re welcome to bring your tamariki and any siblings when you come and visit.
