Our approach is guided by Te Whāriki, the early childhood curriculum of Aotearoa. We believe that we’re very lucky in Aotearoa to have an awesome and holistic early learning curriculum that has been developed by qualified educators. That’s why we adopt it in our early learning centre.
We focus on creating tailored learning opportunities for each tamaiti. Learning experiences are woven through play, intentional teaching and meaningful interactions that embrace individual interests, strengths, and culture. At Little Parrots, we lay the foundation for confidence and
competency, and give tamariki the skills they need to develop a love of learning for life.
We embrace Te Tiriti o Waitangi and acknowledge the bicultural heritage of Aotearoa. Te reo and tikanga practices are seamlessly woven into our daily activities, creating an environment where cultural identity is celebrated.
