These Terms and Conditions form part of the enrolment agreement between Little Parrots Tāpui Limited (“Little Parrots”, “we”, “our”) and the parent(s)/guardian(s) (“you”, “your”) enrolling their child (“the child”) at our centre.

1. Enrolment and Attendance

   • Enrolment is confirmed upon receipt of a completed enrolment form, provision of all required documentation, and confirmation of start date.
   • A minimum of two weeks’ written notice is required for changes to enrolment or withdrawal.
   • Regular and punctual attendance in line with your booked sessions supports smooth routines and safe staffing levels.

2. Hours of Operation

   • We are open Monday to Friday from 08:00 to 17:00, excluding public holidays and any planned closures.
   • Drop-offs and pick-ups must occur within your booked session times.
   • Lateness in collecting your child may incur additional charges, and repeated lateness may prompt a review of enrolment.

3. Fees and Payments

   • Fees are charged according to our current fee schedule, which is available upon request and may be reviewed periodically.
   • Fees are payable weekly in advance via automatic payment or bank transfer.
   • Additional charges (e.g., for meals, nappies, or extracurricular activities) are opt-in and clearly outlined.
   • Overdue accounts may result in enrolment suspension or cancellation.

4. 20 Hours ECE and WINZ Subsidies

   • To claim 20 Hours ECE, a signed attestation form must be completed. Up to 6 hours per day and 20 hours per week can be claimed.
   • You must inform us of any changes to your child’s entitlements.
   • Where subsidies (such as WINZ) do not cover the full amount, you are responsible for the difference.

5. Health and Safety

   • Children who are unwell must be kept at home. We reserve the right to exclude a child who is too unwell to attend.
   • In case of illness or injury at the centre, we will contact you and seek emergency medical assistance if necessary.
   • All allergies, health needs, and medical conditions must be disclosed on enrolment and updated if they change.

6. Privacy, Communications, and Consent

   • We collect and manage personal information in accordance with the Privacy Act 2020.
   • Any information you provide via our website enquiry form or through email communication will be used solely for the purpose of responding to your enquiry, managing enrolment, or communicating relevant updates.
   • Your child’s information will not be shared without your consent unless required by law.
   • Communication via email or SMS (e.g., for enrolment updates, reminders, or announcements) is opt-in. You may unsubscribe at any time.
   • Consent for the use of photos and learning documentation for internal purposes (e.g., Discover, Playground, Home, learning stories) is requested separately at enrolment. This includes secure sharing within our centre and with whānau.
   • Separate consent is required for any external use of images or content, such as marketing or social media.

7. Code of Conduct

   • We expect respectful, constructive communication between staff and whānau at all times.
   • Threatening, abusive, or discriminatory behaviour may result in immediate termination of enrolment.
   • Little Parrots reserves the right to restrict access to any person who poses a risk to the wellbeing of children or staff.

8. Public Holidays and Closure Periods

   • The centre is closed on all public holidays. No refunds or make-up days apply.
   • We also close for a short period over the Christmas/New Year break, which will be advised in advance.

9. Liability and Personal Items

   • While all reasonable care is taken, we are not responsible for loss or damage to personal belongings.
   • Parents/guardians may be liable for the cost of repair or replacement where intentional damage is caused by a child.
   • Amendments to Terms
   • These Terms and Conditions may be updated from time to time. Any material changes will be notified at least 30 days in advance via your nominated contact method.

Declaration

By enrolling your child at Little Parrots, or by submitting an enquiry via our website or email, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms and Conditions.
